[LOCATION] YAYY!!! As of November, I am out of our duplex/garage and in a real studio/workshop!!! It's not a storefront, but it IS an office, a place to to pick up orders, and it has a fabulous giant workshop space attached, too. The address is 5619 CR 7410 in Lubbock, TX 79424 - If you're coming out and need a map, you must just google it. Otherwise, you'll be on a wild goose chase. It's crazy...sorry! New-ish area will hopefully be in the other maps soon!

[WORK] I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, but after teaching for 3-ish years, I took a giant leap of faith to follow this crazy dream I (still) have of being a difference-maker. So in June of 2012, with zero art background, zilch business knowledge...with a crap ton of sharpies, paintbrushes, and ideas galore...I started a Facebook page. By mid-September, I knew it was what I was supposed to be doing, so - despite my mother's frantic fears, I jumped. I quit teaching on a Tuesday and haven't looked back not once. Learning as I go is both insane and wonderful. God's got the reigns and seems to know what He's doing around here!  -- and my diploma still at least looks verrrry pretty all framed on my wall. In my bedroom. ;)

[VISION] To encourage people all over the country by keeping it REAL an using the talents God blessed me with...writing words. It's my hope and prayer every single day that maybe someone, somewhere, will see the words I've written, drawn, or painted and just smile...or maybe take a deep breath and know they're not alone..and that they'll remember to look UP always. Life is a DOOZY...let me just tell ya. But if sharing some words with you guys can make a difference in just ONE person's life..? Worth it. I truly just want to use my talents to make a difference in people's lives. And all the glory goes up. ALL of it.

[ME+FAMILY] I have two not-so-little boys - 7 and 10. They're hilarious, smart, athletic, and just plain wonderful...most of the time. ha! We all raise each other around here. Being a boymom truly is my greatest adventure! ;) I got pregnant in high school, married two weeks after I graduated.... and five years later, it fell apart. So now it's been almost 6 years that I've been divorced. MAN WHAT A RIDE. Single mommin' it ain't easy, but I have a pretty fantastic family and some pretty freaking great friends who have helped every chance they get and encouraged me always, even when they thought I was completely insane. I couldn't be more thankful for the fierce love I've been shown over the past couple years.

I say allllll that to say this: Even though life hasn't handed me the easiest deck of cards, it's completely possible to continue on! Dream on. LIVE on. As long as you're looking *UP* for direction and wisdom, you will be okay. No matter what. Blessings abound...you've just got to open your eyes and choose joy! <3

"I've never met a strong person who had an easy past." <<<AMEN. Just sayin'.

[RANDOM] Most forgetful award has always gone to me. Always. Dory on Finding Nemo..?? >>ME. So if you ask me something and don't hear back..? ASK AGAIN! Please. You're not bugging me, I promise...I just seriously probably forgot. And I'm really sorry. In advance.

..and that's enough for now. I could ramble for days. :)
